Chapter Two – 3, 4
Edit: Redone Oct 7, 2014: Yeah, so when I said I’d hate the page in the morning, I wasn’t kidding. I WAS kind of fond of Leawyn hitting the tree and screaming, which I kind of feel like the redraw loses some of, but on the flip side, the redo has a much better “throw” and Maera is like… let’s not even go there. You can view the original page here. Basically I just reinked and colored the characters and retained all the backgrounds/shading stuff, so it didn’t take all that long.
I’m too tired to actually things. It’s like five in the morning. Freezing, feet hurt, and I will probably almost certainly kill you in hate this page in the morning. I did it all in one tired, grumpy, slightly drunk (I honestly just had like a glass of wine with dinner but dang yo, that went to my head, I am the lightest of weight drinkers) and blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhh

Danny: Totally didn’t freeze to death but, have you ever been outside for an extended period of time in the really cold winter? By the time I did get in, I couldn’t feel my toes and warming them up involved a LOT OF PAIN. AND IT GETS COLDER but this is about as cold as the ‘average’ winter days get.
Though, I wouldn’t have liiike died or anything, there’s a McDonalds and a 24-7 Sals within walking distance that would’ve probably let me hang out if I bought food/coffee/whatever. And I could get into the basement with the washer and drier and stuff and it had some chairs, just like, no bathroom or anything. I guess I could’ve… used the washer… but we got the door open so whew.
I totally forgot about you getting locked out while I was locked out! I was just too busy being grouchy about it and texting a friend to bring a hairdrier. I guess you do know how it feels. Except, you would’ve probably frozen to death outside in this weather. D:

GeneseePaws: As soon as I get some time to breathe, you will get the screencap shenanigans! Heck, I’m curious to see how I pulled off some of those pages, I should just always screencap. I could never repeat some of what I’ve done. Also, juggernaut? It’s not that long yet, is it, or am I thinking of another word? Like zeppelin or something only it’s not that. Or LEVIATHAN. Man, I could’ve named my comic like Juggernaut Zeppelin Leviathan’s Gate, but… maybe not.

It’s because it’s wine. A nice brandy or scotch doesn’t cause the hangover the sulfurs in wine do to some people. ;)
Yeah, Sulfites do TERRIBLE Things to people. I almost got divorced on my wedding night. It was horrible. Headache lasted three days of the honeymoon. Gah,… It was awful! Rum for me, even if Elizabeth tries to burn it all up.

This is the second time on this site that someone has gotten a joke of mine. Either everybody is really old, or they are into old movies.
I remember when doing P.E. at secondary school, we did rugby in the cold, winters weather in nothing but shorts and a t-shirt. Afterwards my hands were so numb I couldn’t get my school t-shirt buttoned up, nor my trouser’s zip. The water from the cold tap felt warm on my hands and the hot tap felt scholding hot.
When my hands finally warmed up, they felt like they burning, it hurt and sucked. I guess it wouldn’t be anywhere near as cold as it was for you in Canada, with me being in the UK and all.
Hmm, that was such a long time ago now.
But yeah, I know that must’ve sucked, like, a lot. :-(
On another note, how can you make the comic pages so good!?
I tried drawing some fanart a while back, I gave in ’cause apparently I really suck at drawing!
I’ll probably go back to it when I get more free time, I’ve just had so much work this past week. ;(
